eggyoda.com is a website created by me Nosilla Kire as a way to share my love
for art and music. I take title suggestions sent in by you and create pictures from
them. Suggestions can be either a song title or some interesting lyrics.
I also like to know the artist or band that came up with the title/lyrics.
Eggyoda was created to provide me with an creative outlet that I could share with
others. It lets me combine two of my favorite things in life - music and art.
All the pictures are an interpretation or an idea that came from a song title or lyrics.
Music and art are everywhere, and everyone is affected one way or another by
them. Eggyoda is combination of the two. Enjoy the pictures!
Some FAQ's that have popped up in emails......
Q- Where does the name eggyoda come from?
A- Eggy is my nickname. I have had it since I was a kid (3rd grade).
Yoda was a nickname my father used to call me due to my love of Star Wars.
Q- How do you decide the titles for your pictures?
A- I use lyrics from songs or song titles that I find to be interesting or inspiring.
I get them mostly from suggestions that are sent in by email.
Q- What type of media do you use?
A- Currently I am drawing everything in Photoshop or scanning in drawings that I have
done by hand. I then color everything in Photoshop. I use a Wacom drawing Tablet
(the Graphire 4) to create the pictures. Most other pictures are drawn on white paper
with pencil or black marker. I may start experimenting with paints.
Q- How do you pronounce Eggyoda?
A- It is prononced (egg-E-O-da)
Q- Do you plan on selling any art?
A- I do at some point want to offer original drawings and some prints. There is no
time table on this. Some of the pics I just give away to friends or people who have asked.
Q- What is your favorite pet?
A- I like fish, if that counts. Cats too. Don't have one, but I do like em.
Q- Do you have and ipod? If so whats in it?
A- Lately it is a lot of 70's-80's music (Duran Duran, Talking Heads, U2, Pink Floyd)
I also listen to my daily consumption of Tool, Pearl Jam, Soul Coughin and INXS. Actually I am a huge fan of Pearl Jam and Tool. I have seen them both many times. They rock.
Q- What other pictures or art do you like or create?
A- My full-time job is with a publishing company. I oversee the department and have the
opportunity to work on all types of creative stuff. I deal with everything! Photos, internet
animations, national advertisements, flyers, brochures, posters, designing covers,
you name it.
Q- Name some of your favorite artists?
A- There used to be a girl in my painting class at college....she was good, forgot her
name though. actually The Ames Bros., Klausen (both make sick posters for PJ and
other bands), Charles Schulz, Bill Watterson, Sam Brown, Adam Jones, there are alot.
